Welcome to my website! I am a mathematician with a focus on noncommutative geometry, functional analysis, and mathematical physics.

Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics (MPIM) in Bonn, Germany, guided by Matthias Lesch.

I obtained a PhD in Mathematics at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia for my PhD thesis Trace Formulas in Noncommutative Geometry. There, I was supervised by Fedor Sukochev and co-supervised by Edward McDonald and Dmitriy Zanin.

In 2021 I obtained an MSc Mathematical Physics at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. I wrote my Master's thesis under the supervision of Walter van Suijlekom.

• 07/09/2026: The past few weeks I've attended Matthias Lesch' retirement conference in Bonn, Noncommutative geometry along the North Sea 2026 in Prague (NoSeaG), and the conference Pseudodifferential Techniques in Singular Analysis in Göttingen.
• 19/06/2026: Next week I'll be in Sabhal Mòr Ostaig on the Isle of Skye for the UK operator algebras conference 2026. Pretty stoked!

• 13/02/2026: Earlier this week, I gave a talk on noncommutative geometry in the new Unterseminar of the Max Planck Institute.
• 25/01/2026: I have just arrived to my first workshop in Oberwolfach! It will be on Noncommutative Harmonic Analysis and Quantum Information. I'll be giving a talk as well, see the Talks tab for the slides.
• 25/01/2026: On Thursday and Friday, I was in Paris where I talked at the Operator Algebras seminar at the IMJ-PRG at Université Paris Cité. See the Talks tab for my slides.
• 14/01/2026: Recently, Teun van Nuland, Jesse Reimann and me finished a preprint on Quantum Field Theory, Power counting in the spectral action matrix model. Read it here on arXiv.
• 14/01/2026: In December, I gave a minicourse at the yearly Arbre de Noël conference on noncommutative geometry in France. I took the opportunity to subject the attendants to two hours of Multiple Operator Integral theory. At least one person enjoyed this (me)!
• 02/12/2025: On the occasion of Malte Leimbach's successful PhD defence, I participated in the second NCG Symposium at Radboud University Nijmegen. Congratulations Dr. Leimbach!
• 08/11/2025: I'm on my way to Istanbul for the conference ‘Correspondences in Istanbul’, where I will also be giving a talk.
• 28/10/2025: Today I'm giving a talk about Multiple Operator Integrals in the Oberseminar Global Analysis and Operator Algebras at the University of Bonn.
• 29/09/2025: I'm in Kraków for a couple days for the meeting ‘Spectral and Geometry’ at the Jagiellonian University. See the Talks tab for the talk I gave there.
• 01/09/2025: I have started as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn!
• 30/08/2025: Today, I gave a talk at the GQT Colloquium in the Netherlands.

• 25/07/2025: My joint paper A noncommutative integral on spectrally truncated spectral triples, and a link with quantum ergodicity with Edward McDonald has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Functional Analysis.
• 04/07/2025: I have been awarded a Lift-off Fellowship from the Australian Mathematical Society!
• 30/06/2025: Between 30 June and 11 July I am attending the Austral Winter Workshop on Microlocal Analysis and Non-elliptic Fredholm Theory at the Australian National University in Canberra.

• 16/06/2025: My thesis has been accepted! Many thanks to my supervisors Fedor Sukochev, Edward McDonald, and Dmitriy Zanin, as well as the reviewers Masoud Khalkhali and Andrzej Sitarz.
• 11/03/2025: I have submitted my PhD thesis for review.
• 01/12/2024: Together with Edward McDonald I wrote a paper called A noncommutative integral on spectrally truncated spectral triples, and a link with quantum ergodicity. Read it here on arXiv.
• 29/11/2024: From 1 September 2025 until 31 August 2027 I will be a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics (MPIM) in Bonn, mentored by Matthias Lesch. Really looking forward to start!
